The Development of Wet Shotcrete for Refractory Applications in China

摘要

To enable and promote the development of calcium aluminate cement bonded wet shotcrete systems in China,Blastcrete and Kerneos have formed a partnership approach to provide a shotcrete test station.This paper details the capabilities of the test station and the development of model castable systems used to demonstrate the shotcrete technology.The effect of different castable formulation parameters such as fine fillers,calcium aluminate cement,fluidifying additives and the gelling/set modifying additives are discussed and the advantages of different systems explored.The important aspects of shotcrete equipment are discussed along with the impact of installation parameters (water temperature,pressure,pumping rate,etc.) on installed properties,and the need to properly maintain equipment.
