Synthesis of Planar Arrays by Applying Transformations to Linear Arrays

摘要

A new procedure is presented to synthesize planar arrays using three transformations applying to linear arrays. The synthesized planar arrays would have ring-type side lobes. Some examples are brought to verify the effectiveness of the proposed procedure for planar arrays with sum or difference type radiation patterns.
