摘要

We have conducted a series of experiments designed to investigate elastic and electromagnetic(EM) velocity anisotropy associated with a preferentially aligned fracture system on a temperatevalley glacier in south-central Alaska.Measurements include a 3D compressional wave (P-wave)seismic reflection survey and a multi-azimuth,multi-offset,polarimetric radar reflectionexperiment. The primary objective of these experiments was to identify azimuthal anisotropy in theelastic and EM velocity structure which would then determine the preferred orientation of thefracture system.
