摘要

We study the THz response of mixtures of powders, in which a substance has to be identified. Scattering by powder grains is responsible for absorption overestimation and distortion of the spectral resonance peaks of the substance. This scattering is well described by the Christiansen model. We are interested on the dependence of the fitting parameters in the Christiansen model on the physical properties of the studied substance (size of grain, concentration, etc.) in order both to get rid of the scattering influence and to predict the THz signature of scattering mixtures.
