By using the Fourier-Bessel series expansion method, the analytical solution of underwater tunnel's seismic response induced by SV waves is studied in this paper.A plane model of underwater tunnel is established, with all the potential functions of waves expressed in Fourier-Bessel series form.The unknown potential functions in the model are determined by solving the equations of boundary conditions.The influence that dimensionless frequency and propagation angle of SV waves put on the seismic response of tunnel lining is given.The analytical result shows that all of the dimensionless frequency and propagation angle have an obvious influence on the tangential stress and the radial displacement of underwater tunnel lining.
