The paper devoted to experimental investigations of the MHD-parachute phenomena at the air flow around the flat plate with M = 6. It is shown that MHD-interaction over the plate can transform the attached oblique shock wave in the detached normal shock, increasing the midsection of the interaction area of the body with the free stream.
