Development of a Generic Caisson Design for an Oscillating Water Column Power Generator

The study for the design of a generic caisson structure demonstrates that a structurally efficient system, that incorporates a varying provision for temporary and permanent ballast, while maintaining a shallow draught for installation can be achieved. The study highlighted a number of issues that would have to be addressed when developing the detailed design.
