The concept of an inclined oscillating water column device using a flexible tube has been proven by model testing. The modelling results indicate a hydraulic to pneumatic device efficiency that is comparable with existing designs. Interestingly, efficiency is closely related to wave height steepness, with swell waves producing the better results.
