The POSIBLOC™ system as been used on several breakwaters projects and proven a speedy, accurate and safe system for the placement of armour units eg. ACCROPODE™ and CORE-LOC™' above and underwater with contractors conventional crawler cranes. Production is around 110 to 200 tons per hour with 8,5 m3 units, without divers, except for the first line control.Main advantages are full control of interlocking, reduced risk of having units out of profile, with real time 3D control and continuous placement monitoring. The POSIBLOC™ EC version is available for long reach heavy duty land based excavators for the shallow water placement of units and restricted only by the capacity of the machine ie load radius and depth of reach.
