The mission of the Swedish industrial research institute Swedish ICT and its daughter institute Acreo is to evaluate innovative research from all over the world and develop and transfer the results to our customers or new start-ups, in Sweden and internationally. Some of our key areas are technologies for fiber optics, imaging sensors and systems for wavelengths that are invisible for our eye. This is the focus of our institute centers of excellence IMAGIC and Acreo Fiber optic Center (AFOC), organized by Acreo in cooperation with two industry groups and the technical universities KTH (Royal Institute of Technology), Mid Sweden University in Sundsvall and Linkoping University, Sweden.
