USING SIMULATION IN THE CAPTIAL BUDGETING

摘要

The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate the use of simulation to increase understanding of the capital budgeting process. We use a capital budgeting case to demonstrate the use of scenario analysis and Monte Carlo simulation for capital budgeting using several types of probability distributions to represent different inputs.
