This paper studies the relation in tail gas exhausts respectively from the public transport and automobile/car on urban roads under the combined traffic volume on the basis of the Vehicle Exhaust Street Canyon Regressed Model. The results show how the exhausts pollutants impact the roadside environment with the different road vehicle speeds and bus occupancy rate i%s. In a similar way, the FHWA model had been applied to the study of environmental impact by the traffic noise generated from urban public transport. On the basis of the two parallel companion studies, an integrated metric (Ⅰ) in consideration of vehicle exhaust and traffic noise is put forwards to evaluate the environmental impact by the urban public transport. Through a case experiment and its study, it illustrates the impact between traffic noise and exhausts on hand and bus proportion and driving speed on the other hand.
