SMALL STAND ALONE PV SYSTEMS – SOLAR PV SCULPTURES AND HARDSCAPE

摘要

In this work the issues of efficient isolated stand alone PV systems that at the same time perform the functions of hardscape or sculptures items have been discussed. The solutions based on toroidal solar concentrators for traditional sculptures, organic sculptures, as well as those in urban style have been presented. One other objective of research was to get this approach noticed and to show that solar installations can be blend naturally with historical parks and palace complexes, museums without disturbing their esthetics built over a period of centuries.
