摘要

In this paper, we focused on the application of information technology in coastal construction in order to find better solutions to solve those problems in it. By using the related methods of information technologies including Computer Technique, Geographic Information System and Remote Sensing, we first completed the classification, analysis and processing of geological data which are involved in the coastal construction. Then, we established a general standard to store these data. Finally, based on the basic geological database of Jiangsu foreland and the comprehensive use of Oracle 10g, MapGIS K9 and 3D Max, we constructed an information management platform with sound, video, image and text, which basically realizes functions of the digitization of coastal resource, the networking of information, the imaging of space and scientific auxiliary decisions. The platform can manage, analyze and evaluate the coastal geological data; monitor coastal resources dynamically; visualize the three-dimensional geological environment.
