This paper presents a modeling framework for developing multi-agent systems composed by networked identical agents that interact to perform a collective task. An agent architecture for addressing this kind of distributed problems is presented. Then the component devoted to represent and revise the agent's hybrid (continuous and discrete) state is detailed. The framework is illustrated using a case study dealing with a sensor network application.
