This paper presents the design of different types of chip-size antennas, which are suitable for wireless sensors such as a single frequency linear polarized antenna, a dual frequency antenna with linear polarization, and a single frequency circularly polarized antenna. The proposed antennas are used for short-range wireless microsystem applications and operate in 2.45 GHz and 5-6 GHz ISM bands. The fabrication and measurement of the single frequency linear polarized antenna are introduced.
