Fair Spray and Wait Routing in DTN

In Delay/Disruption Tolerant Networks, the energy of active nodes will be reduced faster than other nodes with the routing of Spray and Wait (SnW). Energy of some nodes will be exhausted and the whole performance will descend obviously. In order to solve the problem, a Fair Spray and Wait (KSnW) routing is proposed in this paper. At first, we proposed a node energy modeling which consists of transmitting energy and energy of movement. FSnW assumes that when two nodes encounter, the proportion of copies they reserve equals the remaining energy of themselves. Simulation results have shown that, compared with SnW, FSnW has made obvious improvement in performance. At last, the influence of number of copies and the initial energy are also discussed.
