A Method Of Applying UDDI-based Web Services Registry In Network Management Interfaces

With Web services increasingly applied to network management,many researches have discussed the Webbased architecture in network management.However,as an important component of the Web services-based architecture,few details are involved in how UDDI registry is used in network management.This paper proposes a method of applying UDDI registry in network management interfaces.Based on the information model of UDDI registry defined by OASIS specification,a simplified information model is presented which is more suitable for network management interfaces.However,when applying UDDI registry in network management interfaces,it is not enough just to provide this simplified model.So we added some functions which supplement and improve the capability of UDDI registry.Then provide a construction of UDDI registry functions based on the functions we proposed before and shows its advantages.In the end,based on the proposed UDDI information model,a simple application is given.
