1stOpt and Global Optimization Platform-Comparison and Case Study

摘要

1st Opt is one of general global optimization software platforms appeared newly. With its unique algorithm of Universal Global Optimization (UGO), lstOpt shows some outstanding characteristics such as easy-to-use, stable, robust and strong global optimization capability. Some typical and hard optimizations problems have been employed for the purpose of test and comparison with other well-know package like Lingo, Matlab, and Mathematic, valuable results have been illustrated.
