摘要

The appearance of GIS Open Source Platform breaks through commercial GIS software's limitations in expensive expense, thus providing a new approach for building the WebGIS system. This thesis introduces Open Source GIS Platform Geoserver and OpenLayers, constructs a WebGIS application system based on three-tier B/S structure, analyzes each level's foundational function, and describes primary technologies and partial solutions of configuring GIS server, the creation of spatial database and the development of client-side application in detail. The experimental result indicates that using Open Source GIS Platform may develop the low cost, high performance WebGIS system, and can satisfy the application demand of small and medium-sized enterprises.
