An Approach for Evaluating Adaptability of Aspect-Oriented Software Architecture

The design and description approach for aspectoriented software architecture (AOSA) has made great progress in the past several years.However,there are few efficient approaches for evaluating adaptability of AOSA.According to the characteristics of AOSA,this paper proposes an approach for evaluating adaptability of AOSA based on quantitative measurement technique.Through calculating the impact on the software architecture (IOSA) and Adaptability Degree of Software Architecture (ADSA) based on class point,we will effectively predict the adaptability of AOSA described in AC2-AOL.And by case study we indicate that this approach help architecture designers to select and improve architecture so as to provide support of designing SA with high adaptability.
