The noise sources of the optical 4f system are analyzed. A real-time method of eliminating partial system noise with phase-only liquid crystal spatial light modulator is given. The aberrations with optical devices are fitted by using Zernike polynomials. The influence for the optical 4f system outputs was analyzed and discussed. A method of phase correction is proposed. The conjugate wavefront can be obtained by simulating phase-only liquid crystal spatial light modulator and rebuilding approaching the wavefront, and thus the correcting of the static distorted wavefront is completed. The performances of before and after phase correction are compared by analog simulation. The result shows that the method is effective in 4f system noise removal.
