Study on Continuing Momentum of Education in China's Economic Development

摘要

There exists a mutual promotion dynamic association between the level of education and economic development.Different from the previous focusing on empirical and theoretical analysis, the methodological innovation in the article is mainly manifested that sustainability of the promoting role is explored by the empirical analysis.Paper uses data from 1978-2008 related to empirically study on the relationship between educational level and economic development, whose results show that the level of educational development promotes economic development strongly and continuously, and found that excessive expansion of the educational scale will be detrimental to the healthy and stable development of economy and society.
