Evaluation of competitive capacity about regional mineral resources based on dynamic coordinated development

Mineral resources offer foundations and security for socioeconomic development. Whether competitiveness of mineral resources is strong or not directly determines the level of mining development and capacity of mineral resources supply. Based on the meaning of competitive capacity of mineral resources, this paper specifies its connotation and establishes a comprehensive competitiveness assessment index system of regional mineral resources after integrated analysis of various impact factors on competitiveness of regional mineral resources. The system involves three aspects: development degree of competitiveness of mineral resources, continuation degree of competitiveness of mineral resources and coordination degree of competitiveness of mineral resources, covers five subordinate systems: mineral resources endowment, exploitation of mineral resources, mining market development, influence from eco-environment and socio-economic support and 22 assessment indicators. Combining with analysis and calculation of each indicator, a simple and practical analysis assessment model is established which offers practical research methods and ideas for launching research of competitive capacity of regional mineral resources.
