The paper describes the new design and frame of sun sensor using the optical fiber. This scheme can prevent the sun sensor is harming by high energy particles in space or ensure the sun sensor good work in the rain, snow conditions on earth, it is a reason using two twain optical fibers. Sense signals form sunlight is amplified by differential amplifier for obtaining higher SNR. Finally data to measure the location of sun is acquired by MCU. Now this technology has been attempted used to CPV (Concentrating Photovoltaic) for increasing the efficiency of generating electricity by the solar energy.
