ADVANCED AERO-ENGINE FAMILIES IN THE POWER RANGE OF 30 KW - 500 KW

Presently the number of small-size airplanes and UAVs in the market has been growing continuously and significantly both in military and civilian application. The limitation of space and weight for their engine is one of the important restrictions. In this publication the rotary engine families, which are small, high power to weight ratio and reliability to propel all structure forward would be proposed as a solution. In order to cover the size range of the airplanes, the family concept of the rotary engine between 30 kW to 500 kW for these aircrafts is also presented as well.
