摘要

The evaluation of the stability of high energy compounds is a long standing issue in the field of explosives and propellants. It is presently getting attention from the broader chemistry community, due to efforts to minimize reactivity hazards in process industries. Consequently, several attempts to develop predictive tools have been published in recent years. Whereas this work relies invariably on empirical quantitative structure-property relationships, present results point to more reliable models obtained on the basis of experience gained in the field of explosives.
