The challenges associated with development, deployment, and support of large, multi-disciplinary, physics-based software products are considered. Key aspects of the management approach employed for the CREATE-AV Project are presented, including mechanisms that provide developers a controlled means of ingesting prioritized stakeholder requirements and periodic deployment of responsive, quality controlled, software products to the targeted engineering workforce. The approach is presented via description of execution strategy, interactions between product developers, quality assurance engineers, and targeted engineering workforce, as well as use cases and lessons learned from the first three years of operation in a planned 12-year project supporting the needs of the defense acquisition engineering communities for air vehicles.
