Design of the New Millennium Cable-Stay ed Bridge in South Korea

The New Millennium Bridge project was launched in the south-western part of Korea. The cable stayed bridge in Lot1 is a FCM-anchored hybrid two-pylon cable stayed bridge with a main span of 510m. A distinct feature of the bridge is its high(195m) and low(135m) pylons with three bundle cables in the side span. The Link is directly exposed to the West Sea, and the site is characterized by strong wind during typhoons events.
