Daelim’s Innovative and Aesthetic Challenges in Suspension Bridge

摘要

Based on the experiences of Sorok Bridge and Jeokguem Bridge, three suspension bridges, Yi Sun-sin,Dandeung and Saecheonnyeon, are successively designed by DAELIM. In this paper, structural system and scenicfeature of each bridge are briefly introduced. DAELIM has concentrated on the R&D in the field of suspensionbridge for enhancing the international competitiveness in past 10 years. Innovative and aesthetic challenges insuspension bridge will continue.
