摘要

Steel trusses directly built atop high-rise building would lead to a severe consequence and strong earthquake response. Main structure is not broken or damaged under seismic action,while steel truss may still have been severely damaged. Although some scholars have obtained some meaningful seismic conclusions with steel tower built atop high-rise building,there is little literature related to steel truss built atop high-rise building. The whiplash effect of building having prominent part would be analyzed by normative method under seismic action in the thesis. Then the essence of the whiplash effect of steel truss built atop high-rise building is explained based on this analysis. At the same time,an analysis example of the whiplash effect of steel truss is cited to prove the theoretical analysis.
