China FACE (Free-air Carbon Dioxide Enrichment) system was used to study the effects of elevated COj on microelements concentration in soil solution at different depths in the rice season. The results showed that elevated atmospheric CO2 had different effects on Fe, Mn, Cu and Zn concentration in soil solution at different stages. Elevated COi had a trend of increasing the concentration of Fe, Mn, Cu and Zn in soil solution at different depths, although mostly had no significant difference. Elevated CO2 had the trend of increasing the average Fe concentration at all soil layers, although the effects of elevated |CO2| were not significant Elevated CO2 significantly increased Mn concentration in soil solution at 30cm layer (P=0.020). The results indicated that the geochemistry cycle of the microelements of soils in the agricultural ecosystem could be influenced by elevated CO2 in the atmosphere. The response of microelements in soil solution in rice season to elevated atmospheric CO2 needs further study.
