摘要

High-tech industry is a strategic and guiding industry to the economic and social development, which has strong permeability, high added value, and is a core symbol of measure a country or region's economic development level and competitiveness contemporary. This Paper based on the summarized and conclusion of Wuhan High-tech Industry Development, building trade competitiveness -revealed comparative advantage index matrix, evaluated high-tech industry competitiveness in Wuhan according sectors and region. The results showed that: during the Wuhan High-tech industry, materials technology, biotechnology, computer and communication technology and life science and technology in the international market have strong competitiveness, and materials technology has the most international competitiveness; and the international competitiveness of electronics, optoelectronics technology, computer integration and aviation technology are relatively weak, in which the computer integrated technology is the weakest. Compared to the other high-tech industry area which starting early, Wuhan high-tech industry development as a whole does not have the advantage, it need to further strengthen and enhance the development of high-tech industries.
