In this paper, the flush endplate beam-to-column connections are being examined under fire conditions. In order to analyze and understand the behaviour of such a connection at ambient and elevated temperatures,a reliable 3D finite element model of endplate has been created using the ANSYS FEA software. A comprehensive model which is ca pable of simulating the behaviour of typical connection configurations in both steel and composite framed structures under fire conditions has been developed. Validation of the proposed connection model is carried out by comparison against a range of available experimental results, implementation is undertaken within an advanced finite element program that account for material and geometric nonlinearities. From the comparison between the results from computational analysis with available experimental data,it shows that the model has a high level of accuracy.
