摘要

Abstroct--The reason of wet multi-disc brake low frequency noise is described with the combination of complex modal analysis theory and finite element method. The occurrence propensity of brake noise is evaluated on the basis of positive and negative of the damping ratios of eigenvalues.lf there are one or more negative damping ratios,the system is considered to have the propensity of noise occurrence.The impact of friction coefficient, steel disk stiffness, friction material, brake pressure and speed to brake noise is analysis and a theoretical basis is provided to weaken and eliminate brake noise.
