Research and Implementation of Encrypting the SQLite Database Based on JNA

摘要

SQLite is one of the most popular embedded databases, and encrypting SQLite database with Java is becoming more and more popular in embedded applications. JDBC is the traditional way of accessing SQLite database with Java, but SQLite database is stored in the form of text files, which can be opened by text editor. Thus, data dictionary and other information can be viewed, which can lead to serious security problem. In this paper, the native database access method based on JNA is proposed at first Then, two methods of encrypting the SQLite database with Java are designed. Experimental results show that the proposed method can solve the problem of encrypting key information of SQLite database.
