摘要

In this brief, a design method of highorder Sigma-Delta modulator (SDM) is presented. To avoid suffering from instability problems, stability constraints are used to guide the SDM designing. Moreover, with the tradeoffs between stability and performance of SDM, an optimal noise transfer function is generated as to obtain large in-band quantization noise suppression and then can be easily fitted to SDM. Finally, a design example which reveals the effectiveness of the method is given.
