摘要

Energy is the foundation of social development and human progress. Aiming at energy saving and social sustainability, exergy analysis was used here to explore how to improve the energy utilization efficiencies of thermal power plants, since lots of fossil fuels were consumed in thermal power plants. Standard exergy of coals was studied first since characteristics of coals are key factors for exergy efficiency. Then, exergy efficiency was chosen as the metewand to measure the energy utilization rate. Results showed that specific exergy of coal directly influenced exergy efficiecny of TTPs. Finally, sustainability for thermal power plants was talked accoding to the obove analysis.
