Design of Service Registry for Interoperable Medical Information System

摘要

The interoperable medical information system can make good use of the medical information in hospital. The development of interoperable medical information system requires facilities to query, choose, set-up and execute service. In this paper we propose a service registry design of the interoperable medical information system, which is a core element of the system. The service registry's function is making cooperative hospitals and medical institutions publish their services to the central server, and users query and use the registered service. In order to make sure that the registered service is valid and the service information is correct, service registry monitors service actively and gets latest information about the service. This service registry design is based on the Microsoft.NET platform. Web technical is used in the interface design for publishing service to web site by IIS, so that nonlocal users can access it by internet.
