Based on the former instruction-assisted system, the instruction-assisted GIS system introduces the technique of GIS. The system realizes the graphical visualization of teaching content through integrated management of spatial and attribute information—the function of GIS. The system is mainly applied in topographical field practice because spatial characteristics of the information in these areas are extremely important This paper aims at the comprehensive practice of physical geography in Lushan Mountain which is the most important part of experimental teaching in undergraduate course of some domestic universities. Based on the analysis of similar system-design experience and method in related fields, designing the Lushan instructionassisted GIS system. The paper introduces the mode and content of comprehensive practice of physical geography in Lushan Mountain first, designs the system base on the requirement analysis, then further discusses improvement and development direction of the system.
