In order to study the mutagenic effects of 60Co~γ rays irradiation on leaves of Korla Fragrant Pear, this research used dormant and chasteness branches as irradiated materials and further respectively applied the CI-203 laser leaf area meter to measure leaf growth indexes, paraffin method to measure leaf tissue structure, 80% acetone solution to measure chlorophyll content, LI-6400 portable Photosynthesis System to measure leaf photosynthesis respond curves, and finally made statistical analysis for the variation degree of leaf indexes. The result showed that mutagenic effects among those treatments were not consistent with each other and the change law was not obvious, compared to dormant branches, chasteness branches were more susceptible to irradiation; Leaf growth indexes among treatments had significant or remarked significant difference and high dose irradiation could lead to strip-type leaves; The change law of palisade tissue and spongy tissue presented contrary tendency between two type branches, but they both reached their extreme value at 20Gy; chlorophyll indexes among those treatments had no significant difference except chlorophyll a/b value; photosynthesis characteristics of chasteness branches were all inferior to CK while 20Gy treatment of dormant branches had better adaptability for light intensity and 30Gy treatment had poor adaptability.
