A New TDOA Location Algorithm Based on TLS and Taylor Series Expansion in Cellular Network

摘要

Aim at the highly dependency relationship between Taylor series expansion Algorithm and the initial reference point, a new TDOA location algorithm based on total least squares and Taylor series expansion is proposed. Considering the measurement error and observation station position error simultaneously, the proposed algorithm utilizes total least squares to estimate the initial value, then implements iterative calculation using weighted least squares after Taylor series expansion. The simulation results show that the location performance of proposed algorithm is close to Taylor's method based on the true position, and has excellent capability in resisting measurement error and observation station position error. Compared with conventional Taylor's method, the proposed algorithm enhances the calculation efficiency and constringency probability.
