The Recycling Logistics Problems and Countermeasures in the 'old for new' Policy of Home Appliances in Chain

摘要

The "old for new" policy of the household appliances has been put into effect in nine pilot provinces or cities in China. However, China has yet to set up a standardized system of waste household appliance recycling. In this paper, Field interview and panel discussion were used to explore the problems in recycling, disassembling, disposal and distribution of wasted house appliances in the policy of the "old for new" in China. Several practical solutions were proposed based on the current conditions in Chain and the experience of other countries in the recycling industry of home appliances.
