The urban group along Huaihe River in Anhui is rich in coal, electricity, iron ore, arable land and rural labor force resource, but its economic development is relatively weak in long time. Therefore, to analyze the cause and explore the path of economic development is great significant. This paper analyzes firstly the resource and economic situation in this region, then explore its economic development strategy based on the role of the banking sector.
