Aviation engine is a complicated system, it is necessary for us to research how to diagnose the engine failure according to the relations between symptoms and reasons. The paper draws fuzzy methods into the diagnosis of engine ability failures, sets up the fuzzy subjection degree matrix with the statistical weight method, and constructs the fuzzy mathematic model for fault diagnosis. It introduces four steps for diagnosis process, the simulation about the faults diagnosis case indicates the method is feasible and simply, and the diagnosis veracity is high. The paper proffers one scientific and feasible method to the aircraft failure diagnosis.
