Exploration of Gas Drainage Technology in Coal Mine Safety Application

In order to explore the necessity of gas drainage technology for coal mine safety production and to improve gas drainage effect, starting from gas accident mechanism analysis, collation and analysis of relevant research results in recent years shows that coal gas drainage technology has the effect of releasing of elastic energy, gas pressure and improving the strength of coal. Then the gas drainage technology in applications from construction process, parameters, on-site management and some recommendations for these aspects are discussed. Finally, it is described by one drainage engineering example which contains coal seam forward drill and roof high position drill. Through suitable drill radius, space, drill field position and seal pipe, the drainage effect can be kept above the certain level which ensures safe production. Furthermore, it is pointed out that strengthening permeability coefficient is of great importance for drainage technology's further development with unchanged objective factors.
