Since extremely low concentration of H2S is still highly toxic, high-sulfur gas may cause casualties because of dispersion of gas plume before ignition. Based on Gaussian puff model and the transformation relationship between the rectangular coordinate and cylindrical coordinate, the mathematic model which indicates the relation among dispersion radius, dispersion time and dispersion concentration is built to calculate the high consequence area radius of high sulfur natural gas dispersion. Then, the analytical formula used to calculate high consequence area radius of high sulfur natural gas dispersion in little wind condition is obtained through solving the model. The values of parameters in the analytic formula are also gained. The analytical formula which is only associates with pipe diameters and operation pressure is easy to achieve.
