Using ANSYS software, this paper sets up a separate finite element model and conducts a numerical simulation and analysis on the oblique section shearing-resistant properties of steel reinforced light aggregate concrete beam. By comparative analysis of stress, ultimate bearing capacity and load - displacement curve, it shows that the finite element numerical simulation result matches well with experimental result, and it is reasonable and feasible to construct the finite element model. This can provide theoretical foundations for the further research and practical engineering application of steel reinforced light aggregate concrete beam.
