An Empirical Research on the Relationship between Profitability, Development Capability and Value-Chain Position of Real Estate Enterprises

摘要

According to the data from the annual report in 2007, this Paper selects effective samples from the public companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen stock market, mainly focusing on six financial indicators based on profitability and development capability. SPSS is firstly used to do factor analysis and cluster analysis on these public companies, and then a statistics about the value-chain position of public companies can be obtained after the position of different types of public companies in the industry value-chain is analyzed. Besides, a conclusion can be drawn that there is no obvious numerical relationship between the profitability, development capability and value-chain position of real estate enterprises. Finally, the reasons for this outcome are analyzed.
