摘要

The paper introduced the advantages of missile approach infrared (IR) warning system. Analyzed the feasibility of the scanning IR detection applied in airborne missile approach warning. The principle and the structure of this system are discussed. The detection range is calculated according to the parameter of the components, which satisfied the request. Aiming at the small targets, Designed an appropriate technique for image processing. By tests, the system could detect and track small targets and also make an alarm signal.
